Images from the Cassini orbiter are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Now there's a video too- with a Nine inch Nails soundtrack.
I want to project this on the wall of my bedroom and loop it over and over again.

Explanation: What has the Cassini orbiter seen since arriving at Saturn?
In the first time-lapse sequence (00:07), a vertical line appears that is really Saturn's thin rings seen nearly edge-on.
Soon some of Saturn's moon shoot past. The next sequence (00:11) features Saturn's unusually wavy F-ring that is constrained
by the two shepherd moons that are also continually perturbing it. Soon much of Saturn's extensive ring system flashes by,
sometimes juxtaposed to the grandeur of the immense planet itself. Cloud patterns on Titan (00:39) and Saturn (00:41) are highlighted.
Clips from flyby's of several of Saturn's moon are then shown, including Phoebe, Mimas, Epimetheus, and Iapetus.
In other sequences, moons of Saturn appear to pass each other as they orbit Saturn. Credit: NASA.

I tried to select a few to post, but they were all too good. He once rescued me from my car's airbags, so if the

Screw Lagerfeld.. Pilati hits the nail on the head again with his S/S 2011 collection.
He included all of my favorite silhouettes and cut lines- from halter to pant suit to cross back.
Let's not forget those gold trimmed belts and grecian cuff bracelets.
I could live every day of my life in this collection.

I know my commentary comes a bit late as fall collections were just being shown,
but this video is the perfect wrap up...now if only I could pull off Arizona's haircut.

I bet you guys must think I am so boring. But by far, my favorites for pre-fall are Thakoon (top)(and probably because it reminds me of Acne spring 11) and Helmut Lang (bottom). I love the long sleek (not to mention sheer) silhouettes that I am seeing. AND IT'S SO PLAIN! But it's so wearble! And helplessly cool. I would pick this kind of stuff to wear any and every day of the week. -M
